Kiwi blokes are good at volunteering - whether you are out there on the rugby field, manning the barbie at events, joining the local fire brigade, Rotary or Lions clubs.

Volunteering can be a lot of fun and can give a huge amount of satisfaction, especially when your chosen role builds on your interests and skills set.

Volunteering for a charity organisation like the Cancer Society can be a great way to give back to the community. There is always a role for a good keen man, and all it takes from you is time.

If you have some time to give, why not give back? It’s good soul food to help others that just need a little bit of a hand.

Cancer Society - Keith Beck talks about his experience with prostate cancer and support available though Cancer Society NZ.
