Brothers unite to improve the cycle of life for Pacific Island and Māori people

Uso is a Samoan word meaning "brother" and can be used in the same context when a female refers to her sister.

Regardless of the cancer; testicular, prostate or bowel cancer, Pacific Island and Māori men feature poorly in the statistics. We want to do something about it!

On October 13th - 26th, 2012, a group of 10 Pacific Island and Māori men with the support of Cancer Society New Zealand and various sponsors, will start our journey at Cape Reinga and cycle south on a mission to ride the length of the country to raise cancer awareness for Pacific Island and Māori men.

Although our focus is Pacific Island and Māori men, we are fully aware that the lessons learned can be applied to all Pacific Island and Māori people.
